If that’s your idea of the perfect day, then there’s one New York neighborhood that you’ve got to add to your “must-see” list.
In today’s episode, Ginni shares her love for her New York neighborhood, Sunnyside, by highlighting one of her favorite local shops. Lockwood is a New York-based retail store owned by Mackenzi Farquer. Since opening the first store in Astoria in 2013, Lockwood has expanded to six locations across the city, offering a well-curated selection of unique items from local artists.
You’ll hear what makes Lockwood such a special part of the Sunnyside community, and how its owner supports local artists and the LGBTIQ+ community. You’ll hear about the fun and funky selection you’ll find there, and where all six shops are dotted throughout New York.
